- cadh-luibh
- the cud-weed (Sh. gives cad-luibh, and O'Br.), Irish cadh-luibh; from Middle English code, a cud. M`A. omits the word; it is clearly Irish. The Gaelic is cnàmh lus, which is its Latin name of gnaphalium in folk etymology.
